Our work was published in Nature Chemical Engineering, and demonstrates a redox-mediated electrochemical process for the continuous extraction of metals with high selectivity. We investigate the selective extraction of gold and platinum group metals from multicomponent streams, including mining streams, electronic waste, and catalytic converter recycling. The project was highlighted by the UofI news and selected as front-cover of the April issue!
