Congrats to Raylin for leading a paper on the study of polymer-solvent interactions for a thermo and electroresponsive redox-copolymer using neutron reflectometry and in-situ techniques!
The work was published in JACS Au, and was the fruit of a close collaboration with the Oak Ridge National Laboratories (ORNL) Neutron reflectometry team from Dr. Jim Browning, Dr. Hanyu Wang, and Dr. Mat Doucet. The study demonstrates the amplified solvation and swelling behavior, controlled solely by electrochemical pathways, of a NIPAM/ferrocene copolymer. The findings are highlighted by a ChBE news article, and was also selected as the supplementary cover for the journal!
