Congrats to Kihyun for his recently published paper on demonstrating redox-mediated ion-selective separations through photoelectrochemical stimulus!
The work was recently published in Small, and demonstrates the coupling of photo and electrochemical inputs for activating the redox-mediated electrosorption of ions. The photoelectrochemical system combines heterogeneously functionalized redox-polymerson TiO2 nanorods, to separate oxyanions with much lower voltages or even without any electric energy input!
