Congrats to Kwiyong, Riccardo, and Raylin for the recent review on electrochemical and hydrometallurgical approaches for metal recycling!
Our work was recently published in iScience, in a special issue on Materials Criticality, and provides recent advances in electrochemically mediated technologies for the recovery and recycling of rare-earth metals and other key critical materials. We also discuss the combination of hydrometallurgical processes with electrochemistry to address complex feedstocks. This review was written in collaboration with Prof. Alissa Park and Dr. Guanhe Rim, from Columbia University.
