We would like to welcome our new ChBE PhD students Anaira Roman Santiago, Darien Raymond, and Nayeong Kim! Anaira joins us from the University of Puerto Rico, bringing experience on contaminant transport and wastewater treatment research. Darien join us from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, having carried out undergraduate research on ionic liquids and metal-organic frameworks for gas separation. Nayeong join us after earning her M.S. at Seoul National University, and her B.S. at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Nayeong has carried out extensive research in continuous flow-desalination. All three have received their B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and are recipients of our Department’s Samuel Parr Graduate Fellowship!
