Congrats to Necip, Paola, and Jasmine for a recently published paper on the rate, efficiency, and mechanisms of PFOA degradation using BDD and plasma electrodes!
The work was recently published in Langmuir, in collaboration with Prof. Mohan Sankaran’s group at UIUC. The paper highlights important kinetic and transport considerations, and provides a detailed comparison on energetics and efficiencies between these PFAS degradation methods.
