Congrats to Yonghwan and Kwiyong on their work on designing redox-active metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for the electrochemically-assisted water purification!
The work was recently published in Chemical Engineering Journal, and demonstrates the reversible capture and release of cadmium, by taking advantage of the redox-active nodes and high surface porosity by these functional adsorbents. This work was carried out in collaboration with Prof. Jae W. Lee (KAIST, South Korea).
