Congratulations to Nayeong for a recently published review on electrochemical separations of organic acids and proteins for food and biomanufacturing!
The work was recently published in the Emerging Stars Special Issue of Chemical Engineering Research & Design, and describes progress in electrochemical processes for the recovery of organic acids and proteins, in food and biomanufacturing contexts. We highlight aspects of the electrochemical engineering, materials design, and discusses underlying separation mechanisms. The work has contributions from Jemin Jeon and Raylin Ren.
