Redox-mediated halogen bonding for molecular selectivity published in JACS Au!

Congrats to Nayeong for her recently published paper on leveraging halogen bonding as a redox-mediated interaction for electrochemical separations!

The work was recently published in JACS Au, and shows the design of redox-responsive halogen bonding (XB) for selective electrosorption in nonaqueous media. The research combines spectroscopy, computational simulations, and electroseparation to broaden the scope of redox-mediated interactions accessible to electrochemical separations. The work was carried out in collaboration with Prof. Alex Mironenko and Dr. Vijay Jeyaraj, with contributions from Dr. Johannes Elbert and Mr. Sung Jin Seo.
